Ms. Benett practices in all aspects of family law, focusing on the litigation and settlement of high asset dissolution cases involving complex financial issues. Her reputation in the legal community has earned her Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious “AV” rating and recognition as a Northern California “Super Lawyer.” Ms. Benett was appointed by Santa Clara County as judge pro tem, private judge, and mediator.
Anthony J. Kerin, III – Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada, LLP
A founding partner of Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada, Tony Kerin has practiced law in California for over 30 years. He focuses on the business, real estate, partnership, corporate and construction issues which typically are components of high net worth dissolution, including valuation of community property held business and real estate holdings. Mr. Kerin also works with clients to negotiate acceptable co-habitation agreements, pre and post marital agreements and real property joint ownership agreements, as well as family law planning with parents gifting to married children. A partner of Silvestri, Silvestri & Mialocq, Steve Silvestri has practiced family law exclusively since 1997. His practice focuses on high asset family law cases involving complex financial matters such as the division of venture capital, hedge fund, and real estate interests. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Silvestri is an experienced mediator and represents clients in collaborative law. He also specializes in preparing and negotiating premarital agreements. Mr. Silvestri is a member of the California State Bar and San Mateo County Bar Association.
Greg MacSwain – Law Offices of Gregory Scott MacSwain
Greg MacSwain has been actively practicing law in the State of California for over 35 years. His practice is devoted exclusively to family law with an emphasis on complex custody and financial issues, including child and spousal support, property division, and international jurisdictional disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, he is also an experienced mediator and collaborative attorney. Mr. MacSwain serves as a Settlement Conference Judge Pro Tem and Settlement Officer Judge Pro Tem for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Mr. MacSwain is a former member of the faculty at San Jose State where he lectured in the Department of Organization and Management for 25 years. He is currently involved in a pilot project with the Santa Clara Superior Court to assist parents of young children in early dispute resolution. Mr. MacSwain is an active member of the California State Bar, Santa Clara County Bar Association, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. He has been named one of the Top Lawyers in Silicon Valley numerous times by San Jose Magazine.
